Transit + Rail

In the U.S. alone, rail transportation carries millions of people and billions of tons of cargo each year. Whether transporting products from manufacturer to market, or a commuter from suburb to city center, rail transportation is an economical and environmentally sound option for moving people and goods.

SCS has helped design and build transit and railroad systems throughout the West Coast. Our staff have worked with almost every major transit and rail agency in California. Our team of experienced transit and rail professionals has provided planning, design, construction management, program management and quality assurance/control management services for all modes of transportation including heavy rail, commuter rail, light rail, freight rail, passenger rail, intermodal facilities, and bus rapid transit.

SCS has a established reputation for delivering efficient and economic systems and is dedicated to providing high-quality professional services. We are proud to serve as planners, designers, quality managers, design/builders, and program/construction managers for some of the largest transit and rail line extensions and rehabilitation programs in California.
