Aviation

The challenges facing today's airports are becoming increasingly complex. Passenger traffic and cargo demands continue to grow at unprecedented rates. At the same time, public opposition to aviation expansion can challenge an airport's ability to meet these demands. Because of these changes, airport managers must look for integrated solutions that meet facility requirements while minimizing impacts to the surrounding communities and the environment.

Our services include engineering for airfield and landside design and program and construction management services to airport owners and tenants for new and expanded facilities.

SCS is easing the burden with world-class skills and technologies for airside and groundside projects. We’re designing and building more effective runways. We’re building better facilities, such as “smart terminals” that enhance the travel experience and reduce operating costs. And our staff has built regional intermodal centers that streamline the process of moving people and goods efficiently. In short, SCS is designing and building airports and intermodal centers for 21st century and beyond.

Our staff have completed complex renovation, reconstruction and expansion projects at some of the nations busiest airports, and, in most cases, doing so without interruption to passenger or cargo operations.
